As we move into 2020, there is a heightened focus on external recruiting with the addition of Andrew Brown, HR Business Partner. Andrew has a singular recruiting philosophy: “find the best individual who is passionate about creating a memorable career at Nixon.”
While this philosophy sounds simple, execution takes diligence, hard work and an in-depth understanding of each role. Andrew will embark on a Career Fair blitz this spring including: University of Georgia, Clemson University, University of Alabama and Tennessee Tech.
In the past 100 years Nixon has grown to a company of 211 team members, in route to becoming the largest Kohler Distributor in the world. We are passionate about finding the right individuals to become accountable employees and help drive Nixon to new heights.

In 1972 at the age of 16, Ritchie McQueeney began working for the Yandle Truck Refrigeration in Charlotte, North Carolina. Two months later they were awarded the Thermo King dealership.
Annually, Nixon solicits applications and awards a scholarship to a child of a Team Member. The purpose of the scholarship is to help finance undergraduate or vocational education pursuits. Last year, Nixon renamed its scholarship in HONOR and memory of Marty Siebert, a Team Member who sadly passed away in 2019.
Nixon Power Services is passionate about keeping our customers and team members safe during this time, while continuing to provide 24/7 premium generator service. On April 3, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a recommendation for people to wear cloth face masks in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. However, finding masks has been a difficult task to accomplish.
