Nixon Power Services, the World’s largest Kohler Power generation distributor, is excited to announce the expansion of its authorized Kohler Product Sales and Aftermarket territory to include Alabama and Southern Georgia.
Previously, Nixon’s territory included all or parts of six states (TN, KY, IN, NC, SC, and GA). With 230 current team members (75 factory certified service technicians), Nixon will scale operations to ensure premium products and services are delivered to all current Kohler Power customers in Alabama and Southern Georgia.
Nixon began operations in 1914 and has represented Kohler Power for the last 50+ years across the Southeastern United States. In the generator business for over 75 years, Nixon is focused exclusively on the power generation marketplace, providing industrial, residential and marine generators and aftermarket parts and services.
With the implementation of its proven processes and commitment to customer focus, Nixon’s Product Sales business has tripled in the past four years and Aftermarket Business is up >50%.

In 1972 at the age of 16, Ritchie McQueeney began working for the Yandle Truck Refrigeration in Charlotte, North Carolina. Two months later they were awarded the Thermo King dealership.
Annually, Nixon solicits applications and awards a scholarship to a child of a Team Member. The purpose of the scholarship is to help finance undergraduate or vocational education pursuits. Last year, Nixon renamed its scholarship in HONOR and memory of Marty Siebert, a Team Member who sadly passed away in 2019.
Nixon Power Services is passionate about keeping our customers and team members safe during this time, while continuing to provide 24/7 premium generator service. On April 3, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a recommendation for people to wear cloth face masks in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. However, finding masks has been a difficult task to accomplish.
